This is a fun project to do with an old photo of yourself, your kids or friends. The only old photo I had in my stash is one taken of me several years ago when I was still working in sales. It is a black and white photo which is great since color can be added to the picture.

The image on my card is one of a lady who should be in the no judgement zone since she has her own style and is proud of it! May we all promote peace, love and understanding every day so we can have these beneficial feelings at least in our small part of the world.
When asked to do a project for Peace, Love and Understanding, I immediately grabbed for this oh so cute stamp and die set. In the background you will find "I Love You" in French and Braille, stamped with an ink pad so close to Kraft, you can barely tell its there.
When creating a mixed-media project it is fun and interesting to have lots of texture. This panel can be used as a piece of home decor or you can make a card using the technique, whatever direction your muse leads you in.
We all have art supplies that we feel we cannot create without. For most artists that list changes from time to time depending on the new releases that just keep getting better and better. A product at the top of my list right now is Iridescent Creative Medium paste. Here is one of a series of panels created using that product.
