Friendship is a precious gift. I’ve got a couple of really good friends and am very thankful for finding them. Therefore it was on my heard to make a friendship celebrating project. The picture shows me with some of my girls from our private weekly MoMa-Crafting-Club.
Here is a gift tag that reflects a personality. Fun to make and even more fun to give away, it can double as a bookmark.
My decorating style includes using fun vintage children’s blocks to spell out various words that might celebrate a holiday or add whimsy to a shelf.
The lazy days of summer are just about over, so I thought a shaker card with real sand from Clearwater Beach, Florida might be a fun card to send someone in the north, to remind them of their vacation memories.
We all love traveling, and I for one would never be home if traveling was free - as the saying goes! See how to make a travel journal project.
Journaling is definitely trending at the moment and there are no right and wrong way to do it - it is a very personal thing. I needed something to keep my travel memories in and found this fabulous journal on sale because the front cover was damaged - not a problem for me - as you can see by my Tutorial.
Isn't it funny all of the little bits and pieces you collect on a road trip...everything from bottle caps, sea shells collected on the beach, sand saved in tiny bottles to the tacky tourist offerings like plastic hula dolls, pink rubber flamingos and the ever popular key chains. Well this kitschy shadow box is just the ticket to save all those funky bits in one place.
I really adore how this card came out, especially when I took it outside to photograph, the 3D elements cast wonderful shadows over the front of the stark white card stock giving it a completely different look to what I had imagined when I first thought of what to create.
I love red and blue, I love America - so when I have the chance to create something that is so close to my heart I really am in crafting heaven. This card celebrates my love for this amazing country and some real crafting goodness all thrown into one gorgeous themed card.
Is your husband or son still thinking your hobby is just for women? I've made a men’s shirt, perfect for summer time, that will convince them otherwise! Since Martin (my husband) has seen it he’s attended to my colors, stamps and stencils in a whole new way. This shirt is a great way to involve everyone in your crafting endevours.
