Dragonflies have the most beautiful wings - I love the metallic shimmer when the sunlight touches them...the beauty of nature is incredible and just captured my imagination - as you will see with this tutorial.
1. Cut/emboss one (1) Dragonfly using Vertigo and Die Cutting Machine and using the metal shim plate.
Note: a Metal Shim is recommended to cut intricate Dies using Vertigo. If using the Grand Calibur Machine, the sandwiches are as follows (stack from bottom to up) for cutting: 1. Spellbinders Base Plate A; 2. Junior Metal Shim; 3. Medium; 4. Die Template (cut ridges down); 5. Either Pink Embossing Plate or Raspberry Spacer Plate (depending on thickness of sandwich). Do NOT use white cutting plate with the Junior Metal Shim.
For embossing the Vertigo, stack from bottom up in the following order: 1. Spellbinders Base Plate A; 2. Medium Inside Die Template (cut ridges up); 3. Rubber Mat*; 4. Pink Embossing Plate
