Since Easter is fast approaching, I got inspired by the colored eggs I plan to decorate with my daughter. And this time of the year I really enjoy watching the eggs hatching and then small chicks coming out of them.
1. Cut/score card base to a finished size of 4¼˝ x 5½˝ from white cardstock.
2. Stamp the eggs.
3. Mix StazOn Studio Glaze white with some Shimmer Spritz Frost and Memento Rose Bud ink. Mix with a brush and apply to few of the eggs.
4. Similarly mix Studio Glaze Blue Hawaii, Cotton White with Shimmer Spritz for blue eggs.
5. I mixed Cactus Green Studio Glaze for the green eggs and Dandelion Memento dye ink for the yellow eggs.
6. Stamp some of the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color in the eggs same as above.
7. Color the chicks and hen using alcohol markers.
8. Apply Radiant Neon Amplify to the chicks and use a heat gun, to achieve this puffy texture.
9. Cut a polaroid frame using the die. Mask and create a scene using the sponge daubers.
10. Adhere this to the cardbase. Make a shaker window from the polaroid frame.
