Art journals are wonderful in any size. Take this mini- circle journal, for example, it is pocket-sized and perfect for your summer travels.
Instructions:
1) Punch a hole in the top of two 2 5/8” flat wood rounds.
2) Use 2 ½” circle die to cut out inner pages (from mixed media paper) for the journal.
3) Punch a hole at the top of each inner page.
4) Test assemble the cover over the inner pages, using a book ring to bind everything together.
5) Coat journal cover with StazOn Pigment, Snowflake. Apply directly from the ink pad to cover. Allow drying or heat set.
6) Stamp Swirl pattern onto the cover with StazOn Pigment – Shamrock.
7) Stamp 2nd Swirl pattern onto the cover with StazOn Pigment – Peacock Feathers.
8) Stamp script across the left side of the cover with StazOn Pigment – Koala Grey.
9) Apply a layer of GlazOn with a paintbrush. Allow drying.
10) Stamp saying onto the cover with StazOn Pigment – Piano Black
11) Apply a 2nd coat of glaze.
12) Reassemble.
13) Fill with mini-art journal pages.
