Glistening Snowman Card with Fireworks Spray

Share some sparkle with this gorgeous, detailed holiday card.


Glistening Snowman Card with Fireworks Spray
  1. Emboss Authentique Paper - Glistening Collection using the Holiday Magic Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder.  Sponge the raised pattern using the Memento Dye Ink Dew Drop in Summer Sky and a Sponge Dauber.  Add additional coats for a deeper color.
     
  2. Emboss a sheet of clear acrylic using the Holiday Magic Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Cutting Machine.
     
  3. Cut/emboss one Mr. And Mrs. Snowman Spellbinder Shapeabilities in white card and the hat and scarf in black card.  Using the die as a stencil, sponge Memento Dye Ink Dew Drop in Gray Flannel with a Sponge Dauber
     
  4. Sponge a luggage tag using Memento Dye Ink Dew Drop in Summer Sky and Memento Dye Ink Dew Drop in Peanut Brittle and InkBlushers, blending the colours together until you get the desired effect.  Spritz with water and dab dry with a tissue to for a mottled effect.
     
  5. Place The Crafters Workshop 6x6 Stencil - Mini Well Rounded onto the luggage tag and randomly apply Creative Medium using an InkBlushers.  Allow to dry.
     
  6. Place the stencil over the areas raised by the Creative Medium and gently sponge Memento Luxe Mixed Media Pigment Ink full pad in Wedding Dress with an InkBlusher.
     
  7. Stamp the Darkroom Door image using VersaFine Archival Pigment Ink full pad in Onyx Black.  Spritz the tag using Fireworks! Craft Spray in Summer Sky and Desert Sand.  Gently wipe the raised dots using a tissue to remove any residue of the sprays.
     
  8. Fold a card base measuring 6" x 8" in half to give a 6" x 4" base.  Place the embossed acrylic over the embossed and sponged patterned paper -- the embossed patterns will slip into place.  Tape together using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L - E-Z Tape Runner.  Layer onto white card, cut slightly smaller than the card base.  Adhere all layers using the E-Z Tape Runner.
     
  9. Using liquid glue, adhere the Snowman to the right lower corner of the finished tag.  Attach layered snowflakes cut using the 2013 Snowflake Pendant Spellbinder Shapeabilities and DCWV Glitter paper.  Attach a sentiment from the Authentique Paper - Glistening Collection and attach Want2Scrap bling to the card.
