Delicata Ink to Make a Thanks a Bunch Butterfly Card
Delicata in Golden Glitz gives metallic sparkle to this card.
-
Stamp onto white card and let the ink dry. You can see the contrast of the colours and the shimmer in the photos below.
-
Lightly spray the GooseBumps Texture Spray onto white cardstock, then let dry.
-
Using the Memento Dye Ink in Peanut Brittle and the Sponge Daubers, apply the ink all over the white card. The GooseBumps Texture Spray acts as a "resist."
-
Using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Cutting Machine cut one Labels Twenty Nine Spellbinders Nestabilities using the size five Die.
-
Using the Die as a stencil, sponge the inside edges using Memento Dye Ink in Peanut Brittle and Desert Sand with a Sponge Dauber.
-
Cut flower using scissors and/ or a cutting knife. I use scissors on the outside and my cutting knife for the inside cutting. Layer the awakening image into the stenciled Labels Twenty Nine Spellbinders Nestabilities using foam tape. Adhere these layers to the sprayed and inked card, also using foam tape.
-
Stamp a butterfly from the social butterfly stamp set using VersaFine Archival Pigment Ink in Vintage Sepia. Cut out and sponge the wings using the Delicata Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz. Adhere to the awakening image.
